Catherine W (Williams) Smith

Catherine W. Smith (Williams), beloved wife of Thomas (deceased); dearest mother of Thomas E. and William D.; dear sister of Thomas Militano (Karen), Joseph (deceased) (Pam), Bryan (Rita), Lauren Roth (Don) and Ronald (deceased); loving aunt, cousin and friend to many.  Cathy graduated summa cum laude and received her Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law.  She joined Jones Day as a litigation associate upon graduation and was eventually hired by Acromed DePuy one of her clients, as corporate counsel.  Post merger, she was promoted to assistant general counsel at Johnson & Johnson.  She retired in 2016, but later taught law classes at Lakeland Community College.  She will surely be missed by all who knew her. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday December 16, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Church (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment All Souls Cemetery. The family will receive friends at VICCHIARELLI FUNERAL HOME 5252 MAYFIELD RD. LYNDHURST (BETWEEN RICHMOND & BRAINARD) FRIDAY 4-7 P. M.
