Frank C. Catanese, age 95, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2014. He was born in Milwaukee, WI, was raised in Marina di Caronia, Sicily and returned to the United States to raise his family in Cleveland, OH in 1955. Frank was a devoted husband for 66 years to Tina (Spano-Basso) and dear father to Nancy (deceased), Joseph (Patricia) and Anthony (Lynette). Cherished grandfather to Frank (Gina), Kathleen (James Reeher), Melissa, Joseph, Tana, Carly, and Shana Stiel (Jason) and treasured uncle to Joyce Kandrach (Frank), Sam Totino (Amy), and Elizabeth Stiffler (David). He is survived by his brother Antonino Catanese and sister Vincenza Volpe in Italy. Beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many throughout the world. The family requests no flowers. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday March 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Clare Church. Entombment Knollwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at VICCHIARELLI FUNERAL HOME 5252 MAYFIELD RD., LYNDHURST (BETWEEN RICHMOND AND BRAINARD) SATURDAY 9 a.m.- 10 a.m.
