Joan Tibaldi Obituary

Joan Marie Tibaldi (Manion) passed away peacefully on her 78th birthday, surrounded by her family. She is now at peace and reunited with her husband Michael N. Tibaldi, and her parents Mary “Molly” and Bernard Manion. She was the cherished mother of four: Susan Watson (Jay), Christine Tibaldi (Kevin Ward), Peter Tibaldi (Jeanette), and John Tibaldi. Beloved Grandmother to David Tibaldi (deceased), Ben Tibaldi, Abbey Tibaldi, Brian Tibaldi, Charlie Seacrist and Sara Seacrist. She was the dear sister of Tom Manion (deceased) (Laurie) and Christine Soloky (Dan). She was also an aunt, cousin and dear friend to many. Joan attended Villa Maria High School and Edinboro University in Erie, Pennsylvania. She was an owner of Dino’s Restaurant in Collinwood with her husband Mike and greeted customers there as a hostess for many years. She worked as a travel agent with Lyndhurst Travel where she excelled at setting up fun trips for family, friends and customers. She became a sales agent with Progressive Insurance until her retirement, as well as President of the Georgetown Condo Association. Her wit and irreverent sense of humor made her one of the best people to sit next to at any function. She loved playing bridge with her bridge ladies from Lyndhurst for most of her life, and had many wonderful friends who meant very much to her. She adored her grandchildren and was incredibly proud of their accomplishments. She was the life of the party and she will be greatly missed.
