Matthew F Massella

MATTHEW FRANK MASSELLA, Aug. 13, 1959 - July 23, 2019. Matt passed peacefully at the Hospice of the Western Reserve in Euclid, Ohio. Matt is survived by his loving children; Nicholas Massella and Leah Massella; former spouse of Monica Massella (Cebak); sister Carole Lauric (Ted); sister Susan Cirino (Pat, deceased); uncle of Michael Ted Lauric, Lisa Lauric LoConti (Henry Jr.), Annie Cirino Aldom (James), Patrick Cirino (Kerri), Gina Cirino; great uncle of Jon-Anthony LoConti, Henry LoConti III, Michael LoConti, Carmen LoConti, Theodore Eliot Lauric, Celia Aldom, Julian Aldom and Anna Bella Cirino.  He is the son of Carmen and Rose (Greco) Massella (both deceased). Matthew and Monica raised two wonderful children, Nick and Leah. They loved going to Cleveland Indians games, skiing, playing softball, and so much more together. Matt was born and raised in Euclid, Ohio and graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1977. He was a huge baseball fan and collector. He enjoyed many years playing on a softball league, golfing, working out at a gym, playing darts with his friends, and working in the yard. He was known for his love of nature and his expertly manicured landscaping. His handsome smile and infectious laugh will be missed by all. A Celebration of Matt’s life will be held at Quail Hollow Country Club, 11295 Quail Hollow Dr., Concord, OH, on Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 2:00-5:00pm.
