Robert A. Santoro

Robert A. Santoro passed away peacefully on February 5, 2023, at home with his family by his side. Devoted husband of 51 years to Faye (Lauber); loving father of Jason, Brandon and Marni. Proud and ecstatic grandfather to be. Dearest brother of Arthur (Terry) and Vicky Carlson (Tony); beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many.  Bob was a French teacher for Wickliffe City Schools for 35 years. His passion for education continued during his professional career, attending law school and receiving his J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law.  When he retired, he returned to his alma matter John Carroll to follow his interests in foreign languages, taking classes in Italian.  In the summer, Bob could be found on the golf course, playing cards with friends and tending to his garden. Winter months were dedicated to decorating the house and his 17 Christmas trees. Throughout the year, Bob loved to cook and enjoyed making gourmet meals for his family and friends. He was a Board Member at the Eaton Family Credit Union and a co-chair of the Gates Mills Art Show.  All Services are private.
