Ronald A. Salvador Sr.

Ronald Anthony Salvador Sr. age 89, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones.  Beloved husband of Anna Marie (nee Martini); loving father of Ronald Jr. (Linda), Donald (Linda); devoted grandfather of Ronald III (Melissa), Nicholas (Corinne), Carla Fioretta (Francesco), Anthony, Anna Marie Adornetto (Ryan), and Lisa; cherished great-grandfather of Valentina and Viviana Salvador, Luca and Lorenzo Fioretta.  Ron was proceeded in death by his parents, Nick (Tony) and Lucille (nee Lanese) Salvatore, and Brother-in-law Richard C. Martini.  Ron was a lifelong Clevelander, and a proud graduate of Collinwood High School.  He later became a Cleveland Firefighter of 25 years, where he made friendships that lasted a lifetime. He was an avid racquetball player, winning national tournaments and enjoyed playing golf.  Dear cousin and friend to many, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Thank you for the wonderful care from his caregiver, Betty, and those at The Great Lakes Caring Hospice (Elara Caring Network).  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish (formerly St. Gregory the Great), 1545 South Green Road, South Euclid on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 9:30 A.M.  Entombment at All Souls Cemetery. Visitation will be held at VICCHIARELLI FUNERAL HOME 5252 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst ( BETWEEN RICHMOND & BRAINARD) SUNDAY 1-5 P.M.
